Founded in 1986, Caron Engineering develops advanced hardware and software solutions for more intelligent machining, with a focus on unattended operation, tool wear and breakage detection, machine health monitoring and process diagnostics, cycle time reduction, and automatic tool offsetting.

Caron Engineering’s unique manufacturing technologies optimize the machining process and combine for complete process control. Providing service to a wide range of clients and industries, their growing product line now includes TMAC, AutoComp, DTect-IT, Tool Connect, and CEI Smart Light.

Caron Engineering is proud to be a member of Partners in Technology. This partnership has provided an excellent developmental platform to seamlessly integrate Caron products with our OSP control. Combined with the ability to run any Windows application, OSP is the CNC control best suited to take full advantage of Caron Engineering’s advanced CNC solutions.

The open nature of the OSP control motivated Caron Engineering to become a member of Partners in Technology. The control gives them the flexibility to use their vast experience designing add-on applications for CNC machines and apply them in a way that is not possible on standard CNC controls. All of Caron Engineering’s software takes extensive advantage of the software connectivity embedded in the OSP control. To the operator, Caron Engineering’s Windows applications are just another screen on the CNC control to help make their job easier.
