Okuma India Opens New Technical Service Center
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (June 4, 2018) – Okuma America Corporation, a world leading builder of CNC machine tools, today announced that their sister company and corporate enterprise for India, Okuma India Pvt. Ltd (Okuma India), has opened the Gurgaon Technical Center. The Center serves as a base for sales, engineering, and service support in Gurgaon City (about 10 minutes by car from Indira Gandhi International Airport) near New Delhi, the capital of India, in order to respond to the growing demand of customers and steady economic growth in India.
The new technical center has 16 employees offering sales, engineering and service support and features state-of the-art CNC machine tools for hands-on demonstrations and test cuts.
Okuma India was established in 2007 as a partnership between Okuma Corporation and Mitsui & Company Ltd. and currently has five offices in Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kolhapur and Nashik. Future plans include additional full service technical centers throughout the country.
